The instructions on screen tell you the easy bit - 'Find the Mechanic Station'. It's easy because you should now have set a waypoint to the Mechanic Station and it's a simple matter of heading that way. There are a few things to do first before you go.

It's the first book of a series of 9 books (so far) which tell the story of how life on Earth was saved from a cataclysmic extinction when a rogue planetoid collides with Earth in 7141. This first book deals with how humanity was made immortal, giving us the incentive to do something about an event so far in the future.
Take a touch of humour, add some genetic science and nanotechnology. Steep with conspiracy and stir in murder and despair. Season with romance between three people in a secret location. Garnish with morality.
The result is 'Immortality Gene', the first in a novel series by John and Shelia Chapman. The ebook of book 1 is FREE and available at multiple retailers
Follow the waypoint icon to the mechanic station. On the way watch out for items to collect and, of course, deal with any bots you encounter.
Eventually, following the waypoint icon, you'll end up at the mechanic station. You may notice the on-screen instruction has now changed from 'Find the mechanic station' to 'Find a way to activate the mechanic station.'
To do that follow the exclamation icon to where you'll find another power cell; it's in the top one of the three round bunk buildings. Beware - there may be bots there also. You'll find it a good idea to enter room 3 first and reset your spawn point by using the bunk in it. Room 3 is usually safe to enter.
It was just as well that I did because as well as seeing the power cell on the floor of bunk room 2 I also found it occupied by a heavy haybot and a straw dog; both difficult to destroy, especially in a confined space where you can't back up.
I got killed four times before I was able to retrieve the power cell!
Once you have the power cell enter the mechanic station and fit it in the holder to power the station up. You have now completed all the startup tasks but you are not finished with the mechanic station yet. Now you have to start using it.
Back in 1982 early text only adventure games were being written for home computers. One such game was 'Castle of Riddles' written by Peter Killworth and published by Acornsoft. Now it's been re-written and greatly expanded with added images and sound. Play it on your computer, tablet or even a phone.
