Resource	Used for:	Notes
Water bucket and water container	Putting out the ship fire Watering crops Refining metals	You can make the water containers from buckets of water in a craftbot but there are easier methods.
Scrap wood rod and block	A construction material. Can be processed further.	You can fell and process trees by hand or machine.
Scrap metal bot arm and block	Construction material andraw material for more advanced metals.	Fight bots to get metal parts or use a drill bit to break up rocks by hand or machine. Then process the metal rods
rock	Use as a construction material, making sand and thence glass.	Use a drill bit to break up Cuboid rocks by hand or machine then hit the rocks to produce metal and stone rods which can be refined. If you have a farmbot drill a static mining machine can be constructed-
Embers	Use for refining metals and making glass	Easy to collect by hitting trees in burnt forests but you can make them from Wood 1 and chemicals
Corn and milk	Use milk to quench thirst.	Get corn by hitting corn stalks. Feed 3 corn to a woc and get a bottle of milk. You can't eat the corn directly.
Beeswax	Used for constructing many items in a craftbot or autocrafter	Found on rock outcrops - but not the cuboid outcrops. Strike the bee comb to extract the wax.
Glue clams	Used to make glue, a component of other constructed items.	Break up the underwater clams with your hammer. Later can be farmed in a glue clam tank by feeding them vegetables.
Oil	Used to make fuel and suspension units Obtain from underwater oil vents Use a vacuum pump to extract from an oil pool Recycle plastic	Easy but tedious to collect underwater. Oil pools are a better source but can be risky areas. If you encourage bot raids on your farms and destroy the bots then circuit boards are a good source of plastic which can be converted back to oil.
Chemicals	Used for making other materials	Extract from chemical pools using a vacuum pump Make from eggplants Recycle plastic The latter is the easiest source later in the game.
Circuit board	Used for making products and as a raw material when recycled	Occasionally found in buildings. Destroying bots. Can be made but bots are a better source.
Component kit	Used for making products and as a raw material when recycled	Occasionally found in buildings. Destroying bots especially heavy haybots. Can be made from green bot heads and circuit board .
Screws and nuts	Useful as a source of metal when recycled	Found when dismantling sheds and also obtained from destroyed bots
Batteries	Used for making products and as a power source for motors and weapons	Often obtained by destroying straw dogs and tapebots. May be found in chests in buildings. Can be made from scrap metal, glowworm poop and chemicals or from oranges, paint ammo, chemicals and scrap metal
Toilet	Useful as a short distance teleport device	Found in shed areas.
