The thunderstorm -  a spectacular display of  bolt after bolt of jagged light that iluminates the  night sky with it's dazzling, dancing laser show .  A thunderstorm  in Northern America  is quite unlike those of the UK, where normally you don't get the howling winds. American thunderstorms are accompanied with earth shaking thunder, howling winds, heavy torrential rains sometimes hail and the dreaded twisters.
